Host Site eh?
We are very lucky to have Harbour Estates Winery as our hosts! They are celebrating their 20th anniversary and, in true Canadian fashion, they're having a party and we're invited! Along with their birthday partiers (up to 200), we'll be having the NiEGGara Fest right there with them!
Details:
- When - Saturday September 19, 2009 10am - 4pm
- Parking - Plenty at the winery entrance, then a short (less than 5 min.) walk to the NiEGGara Fest location near the water
- Children - Children are welcome to attend. Parents are reminded this is a functional business on the banks of the Jordan Harbour. In addition to Buildings and other Wine making equipment, the incline on the banks of the harbour are very steep in places. We are just asking you to be responsible for your children. Do not let them run wild and rome free. We want everybody to have a safe and enjoyable day.
- Alcohol - Absolutely NO outside alcohol is permitted on the property. Wine tasting is included with your registration. Wine will also be available for purchase. Zero-tolerance policy in effect. You get caught, the Winery will ask you to leave and no refunds from the NiEGGara Fest will be coming your way either.
- Pets - No pets are allowed on the winery property
- Live Entertainment - We are fortunate to have the Bill Culp Trio
Notes to cooks:
- Please remember to bring everything you need to prepare your samples. More details on the "register" tab.
- You are responsible for your own setup and take-down.
- Keep in mind that while there will be over 200 people, you are only expected to provide samples for tasting, so keep portions small.
- Cooks - Will have special vehicle access to the NiEGGara Fest site until 9:30am and must remain there until 5pm.
